The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has reached a major milestone in its ambitious Naimish Nagar township project. As of April 2026, over 2,500 farmers have officially submitted consent letters for 430 hectares of land along IIM Road.

According to LDA Vice Chairman Prathamesh Kumar, the authority is proceeding with land acquisition and infrastructure development simultaneously to prevent delays. The project, which spans a total of 1,486 hectares, is designed as an integrated township to accommodate nearly two lakh residents.

Key Highlights:
  • Location: Along IIM Road, Bakshi Ka Talab tehsil.
  • Timeline: Plot registrations for two sectors are expected to open by September 2026.
  • Facilities: The township will feature wide roads, green belts, schools, hospitals, and modern solid waste management.
For investors, this marks Naimish Nagar as the next major growth hub in North Lucknow, following the success of IT City and Wellness City on Sultanpur Road.
